Planning Paralysis
The plans that never materialize.
Dreaming doesn’t count.
Planning doesn’t count.
Action does.
Okay… if this feels like a major callout, girl, it probably is.
Planning is not the same as taking action.
Planning is just dreaming with a to-do list.
Don’t confuse it with progress.
In fact, planning your dreams can sometimes be a cheap excuse to stay comfortable—to sit in the fantasy of what could be instead of actually moving toward it.
It’s easier to make spreadsheets, vision boards, and perfectly organized plans than it is to face the uncertainty and messiness of actually doing the work.
Vision boards are great… until they become excuses to stay in your bedroom.
Because here’s the truth:
If you sit on your ass, dream, plan, and never actually move toward that dream… opportunity cannot find you.
It doesn’t just knock while you’re hibernating whispering,
“Hey… I have a life plan for you.”
No.
You have to put yourself in spaces where that energy is possible.
Go meet people.
Go try things.
Go do it imperfectly.
Do it brand new.
Do it without a clue.
Yes, you’ll feel awkward.
Yes, you’ll probably fail.
That’s the point.
You’ll never learn if you don’t.
I’ve been there.
Lost in planning.
Trying to create the perfect plan.
But here’s the problem:
The perfect plan doesn’t exist.
There will always be tweaks.
Shifts.
Changes.
And without action, you’ll never figure out what those tweaks even need to be.
Weeks pass.
Months pass.
Hell, even years could pass.
And you’ll still be sitting in the same bedroom staring at the same vision board, writing down the same goals.
Because nothing happens without effort on your end.
You can map it out forever—
but nothing moves until you do.
Nothing.
So… What Does Action Actually Look Like?
Make the vision board.
List your goals.
Know exactly what you want.
Then make a move.
• Want to own a business?
Start one. Or go get experience somewhere that already does it. Find a mentor. Do something.
• Want to be an influencer?
Post content. Stop scrolling other people’s and expecting magic.
• Want to be a nurse?
Go to nursing school. Don’t just say it.
Get the degree.
• Want to be a writer?
Hmmm…
Write.
Life is full of uncertainty.
And honestly?
That’s the beautiful part.
But you can’t get somewhere if you don’t move.
So many people have gotten wrapped up in the idea that healing, self-development, manifesting, praying, or therapy are somehow going to magically change their lives.
They won’t.
Those things help you understand who you are and what you want.
But without action?
They won’t change your life.
They might change your persona.
But not your reality.
And that’s the real question:
Are you trying to change your life…
or just your persona?
Both matter.
But neither will do the work for you.
You have to move.
Take action.
Step forward.
Trust that the universe has your back.
Pray. Manifest. Believe.
But then…
move.
Stop waiting for permission — from the universe or from yourself.
You’re allowed to start messy, bold, and unapologetic.
Because at the end of the day:
Plans are dreams on pause.
Action turns them into reality

Love this! TAKE ACTION!!
